A fresh faced Victoria Beckham covers the February 2011 issue of Vogue UK.

Shot by photographer Alasdair McLellan, a refreshingly stripped down, and practically bare faced Victoria Beckham is featured on the cover of the February 2011 issue of Vogue UK. The cover is stunning in it’s simplicity, and even though we’re only a few weeks into the new year, I think I already have a mag cover to add to my ‘Top Covers of 2011’ list.

We’ve become so accustomed to seeing celebs done up to the max on magazine covers, that it’s just a nice change of pace to see something so minimal every now and again. Perhaps this stripped down pic of Victoria was intended to give weight to the apparently brutally honest interview she gives inside the mag.

She talks openly about her marriage, her breast implants, and even her former status as a WAG (for the unfamiliar, a WAG is a British tabloid press term for the “Wives and Girlfriends” of sportsmen, particularly footballers, according to Wikipedia).

If you want to know the truth that lies behind the image that is Victoria Beckham, pick up the latest issue of Vogue UK, which hits newsstands today.

Icam, that is a fabulous cover. It looks a little retro 80’s with the simplicity and gray sweater. It has the wholesome sitcom girl 80’s look. I would love to read the article.
