By now I’m sure you have the lyrics to all the songs on Beyoncé’s Beyoncé album memorized, and you’re working on getting the choreography down from those 17 vids. After all it’s been a week since King Bey dropped her surprise EP, and the internetz have yet to recover.

But while Bey was busy mesmerizing the masses, Rihanna quietly dropped her own bit of statement making news. The Pour It Up singer is the latest face of French fashion house Balmain and their Spring 2014 Collection.

Says Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing of the partnership:

“When the woman that inspires you wears your creations, your vision feels complete.”

Lensed by noted photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, and styled by Rihanna’s own personal stylist Mel Ottenberg, the ads take on a decidedly more visually approachable style.

Even with her model enviable looks, Rihanna doesn’t come off as aloof as traditional models in recent ad campaigns have done so. She ‘smizing’ as Tyra would say, but Rihanna remains relatable throughout the shots, giving Balmain a level of accessibility to the masses they’ve never before had.

Now that you’ve had a full weekend to listen to it, to let your senses (of sight and hearing) marinate on it, let’s skip past discussing the music of Beyoncé’s fifth released album, the simply titled BEYONCE. Let’s get right to the fashion.

One of the most talked about visuals featured amongst the 14 videos Beyoncé released alongside her album was #Yonce, a creative visual that finds Bey playing madam to a trio of Supermodel mistresses that include Jourdan Dunn, Joan Smalls, and Chanel Iman.

One of the final scenes of the vid (pictured above) finally finds all four women sharing asingle frame, and it’s an explosion of gritty fashion.

The piece that’s the central standout? Of course it’s Beyoncé’s leopard sleeved moto jacket which happens to be courtesy of 3.1 Phillip Lim.

Bey paired her quilted sleeve black and leopard print leather moto jacket with a black tank and high rise cut off shorts.

The jacket is on sale for $990 at Nordstrom but is going fast.

If you gotta have it, and Nordstrom’s out, click through the jacket gallery to the right to find a retailer that still has it in stock (or even has a better deal!).

As for the other ladies, they were in there like swimwear. London lady Jourdan Dunn wore a pink and red double strap bikini top from N.L.P ($180), paired with low slung black and white graphic print pants.

Jourdan’s one time Teen Vogue co-cover girl, Chanel Iman also found herself in swimwear, a multi strap, multi cut-out number courtesy of everyone’s favorite bandage dress creator, Herve Leger ($790).

Chanel’s ‘Skyler’ hardware embellished one-piece swimsuit is available in several different colors at several different retailers.

So what if it’s winter? Actress Jessica Biel, aka Mrs. JT, defied seasonal style standards when she stepped onto the red carpet of the Hollywood premiere of ‘The Truth about Emanuel’ wearing a midriff bearing look from the Giambattista Valli Resort 2014 collection.

Wearing an all black ensemble, Jessica pieced together a look that’s a perfect study on how to mix textures. She paired a knit sweater (similar here) with a floral lace skirt (similar here), both from Giambattista Valli, topping the look off with an AllSaints ‘Belmont’ leather jacket ($525).

I love a good midriff baring look, no matter what the weather or the season, but…here on Jessica it looks like an afterthought as opposed to a deliberate style choice. It’s as if her skirt simply slipped without her notice.

bionda-costana-daphne-bis-pumpNevertheless, Jessica’s look is still a chic little ensemble that’s elevated by her choice of accessories.

Jessica’s Tiffany & Co. diamond bracelet is the perfect complement to her Leor Yerushalmi designed wedding ring.

Along with her diamond drop earrings, Jessica’s bracelet and ring pairing adds just the right amount of bling to her otherwise dark ensemble.

What takes Jessica’s look from noticeable to memorable though, are her über fab pair of Bionda Costana ‘Daphne Bis’ black lace pumps ($941).

Featuring blue accented camouflage print against black lace, Jessica’s Bionda Costana pumps are a statement making contemporary take on a classic shoe silhouette.

She’s never been one to consistently show up and show out style-wise on the red carpet; actress Paula Patton has had both her high moments and her fashion blunders.

But no matter which end of the style spectrum Paula’s look of the moment falls, she never fails to make the most of her red carpet exposure, ensuring all eyes remain on her.

At the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards Nominations Press Conference Paula turned heads as usual, but not because of her Versace Resort 2014 Collection dress (similar here) which fit her fab figure like a glove.

No, it was the debut of Paula’s new blunt cut chin length bob that had everyone talking. Paula Patton is typically known for having long flowing locks, so the short hair is a definite and unexpected departure for the Mission Impossible star.

While I can’t say I’m an fan of the styling of Paula’s new ‘do, I am a fan of the new length. It’s a fresh look for her— something her red carpet styling needed— and I’m looking forward to seeing how the style evolves.

Just when we were skipping a season and looking ahead to spring for style inspiration, Zendaya Coleman shows us the perfect way to rock the multilayer skirt trend for winter.

Attending the New York premiere of holiday film Black Nativity, Disney starlet Zendaya Coleman continued to certify her fashion bona fides, turning out a chic winter red carpet look centered around a Chloé polka dot embroidered tulle skirt ($3,920).

From Chloé’s Fall 2013 collection, Zendaya’s skirt features delicate layers of polka dot embroidered white tulle finished in a raw, uneven hem.

To balance out the softness of the skirt, Zendaya wisely paired the piece with a black turtleneck sweater and black leather moto jacket.

On almost any other starlet, the addition of the jacket could have been overwhelming for the look, but Zendaya’s not your average fashionista. The Shake It Up actress could easily claim runway model status coming in at 5’10″ tall.

For the shorter ladies out there, if you’re going to attempt this look skip the jacket.

As celebs continue to be gifted designer pieces that are fresh from the runway, we’ll continue to look to them for insight into next season’s fashion trends.

We may barely be into winter, but spring fashion trends are already showing up on the red carpet. So what are the latest fashion trends to come?

Taking in recent red carpet looks from actresses Rooney Mara, Naomie Harris, and Zoe Saldana, it’s safe to assume double layer skirts are fashion’s next ‘it’ trend.

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo star Rooney Mara walked the red carpet of The 8th Rome Film Festival premiere of her new film Her, wearing a double layer creation courtesy of Balenciaga.

Rooney’s Spring 2014 frock features a sheer overlay that gives the otherwise mini length dress a more conservative calf length hemline.

It’s a best of both worlds kind of deal, allowing Rooney to wear the shorter, bolder skirt lengths typical of the spring and summer seasons without losing the comfort and ease of a longer dress.

Actress Naomie Harris is one of those stars who tends to fly under the fashion radar, but is actually deserving of closer style watch.

As she’s made the promotional rounds in support of her latest movie Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom, Naomie has rocked several fashion forward looks that proves she’s one to watch.

She had a standout style moment at the film’s AFI FEST 2013 premiere, rocking a double layer look from the Oscar de la Renta Spring 2014 collection.

Naomie paired her mesh overlay dress with turquoise chandelier earrings (similar here, and here) and matching turquoise heeled sandals (similar here, and here).

Along with the classic silhouette of the flounce hem overlay, the turquoise accents provide a timeless contrast to the contemporary design of the dress.

Of course resident celebrity fashionista Zoe Saldana would be at the forefront of an emerging style trend. The Star Trek actress (or her stylist) has an impeccable talent for creating red carpet looks that are always ahead of the fashion curve.

Things were no different at the Seventh Annual Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards, where Zoe continued her trendsetting ways wearing a double layer dress from the Monique Lhuillier Spring 2014 ready-to-wear collection.

With temperatures only just beginning to reach lower numbers, thinking ahead to spring fashion trends probably isn’t on anyone’s immediate style radar.

But this is one look that easily transitions into fall. Try pairing a double layer skirt with a chunky knit sweater and heeled boots for a cold weather ready look.

She might not be a celebrity name that automatically pops up on fashion radars, but Mistresses star Alyssa Milano made a style statement at The Hollywood Reporter’s ‘Next Gen’ 20th Anniversary Gala that shows she could possibly be one to watch.

Wearing any kind of print onto the red carpet is an automatic style risk for a celeb.

When the world is watching your every fashion step, any deviation from what’s considered ‘safe’ leaves a lot of room for criticism.

The fact that Alyssa bravely paired two seemingly disparate prints from the Burberry Fall 2013 Ready-to-Wear Collection earns the actress and E for Effort just because.

Her animal jacquard cashmere sweater ($995) and duchess silk satin pencil skirt ($1,095) combine to create a look that’s both timeless and unexpected.

The smooth silk satin of the pencil skirt contrasting against the knit texture of the sweater is a classic fashion combination that never goes out of style. But the combination of leopard print and wide horizontal stripes is a contemporary and bold update to the look.

What do you think of Alyssa Milano’s Burberry Prorsum mixed print style risk? Love it, or leave it?

After a summer season that seemed to go on forever, the temps outside are finally aligning with the dates on the calendar, dropping to the kind of lows expected for this time of the year.

What does that mean for your wardrobe? It’s coat season!

Keeping things stylish can be daunting during the winter months, when staying warm takes precedence over looking good. But there’s an easy way to solve that particular fashion conundrum; just throw a statement making coat over your ‘fit.

Model Kate Upton successfully put that winter style tip to the test, when she donned a scarlet red coat ($4,490) from the Oscar de la Renta Fall 2013 collection for a guest appearance on Extra.

With a coat this sophisticated and fab, it doesn’t even matter what Kate’s wearing underneath. Follow her celebrity winter fashion cue and instantly solidify your fashion bonafides by investing in a statement coat.

Who says you can’t wear white after Labor Day? If any rules were ever meant to be broken, it’s definitely those of the fashion world.

The key to dressing for fashion success is to simply wear what you love, and love what you wear. It’s the confidence in knowing that you love your style regardless of what others may think, that sets the trendsetters apart from the fashion followers.

So if you love wearing white, don’t let an arbitrary date on the calendar keep you from getting to it, especially when stars like Naya Rivera, Joy Bryant, and Meagan Good show three distinct ways to take the ‘all white everything’ look into fall and beyond.

All three starlets made appearances at ELLE Magazine’s 20th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration with not only the same idea of wearing white to the event, but also wearing white jumpsuits.

Naya kept things über sexy, which has become her style modus operandi as of late, in a plunging v-neck jumpsuit from the Pamella Roland Spring 2014 ready to wear collection.

In addition to the daring neckline, the Pamella Roland jumpsuit also featured mesh sleeves. Surely Naya must be a member of the ‘If you’ve got it flaunt it’ camp, because she’s definitely got it, and she’s shown on occasion after occasion that she isn’t afraid to flaunt it.

Parenthood actress Joy Bryant has always maintained a relatively low profile, and when she does make a rare appearance at a Hollywood event, she’s usually a fan of easygoing, laid back looks.

Things were no different at the ELLE event, where a fresh faced Joy wore a relaxed fit jumpsuit from the Calvin Klein Resort 2014 collection.

Known for her sexy red carpet looks, Meagan Good hasn’t let her status as a preacher’s wife diminish her risqué style choices in the least.

She followed in Naya’s footsteps rocking a white jumpsuit that featured a plunging neckline to the ELLE event, though Meagan’s designer piece was courtesy of Marchesa.

Not available online for purchase, you can get a similar look to Meagan’s Marchesa jumpsuit with the above pictured ‘Phoebe’ Deep-V Jumpsuit from AQ/AQ ($242).

Under the tutelage of baby daddy Kanye West, Kim Kardashian continues her style transformation from reality tv standard, to jet setting sophisticate.

Taking to the streets of West Hollywood in a chic wrap dress from the Donna Karan Fall 2013 collection, Kim K’s proving that Yeezy has indeed taught her well.

The same day Kim stepped out in her sexy frock, Actress/singer Jennifer Hudson wore the same Donna Karan dress to the 2013 Chicago International Film Festival premiere of her latest film, The Inevitable Defeat Of Mister And Pete.

Yes, ladies and gents, even though the styling suggests otherwise, Kimmie and Jennie are in fact wearing the same dress. Just goes to show how one dress can be styled and altered to work for a variety of body shapes without losing any of its style.

Kim and Jennifer’s Donna Karan dress is available from Net-a-porter for $1,895, right in time to get your Kim Kardashian Halloween costume together.
