LeAnn Rimes and her sick shoe game bring Alexander McQueen to the Trevor Project’s 2011 Trevor Live!

Check her footwork, indeed! LeAnn Rimes’ shoe game is seriously on point. The country singing starlet brought a bit of English glamour in the form of Alexander McQueen wedges to the Trevor Project’s 2011 Trevor Live! event held at The Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.

The Trevor Project is a national organization whose focus is crisis intervention and suicide prevention in at risk LGBTQ youth. The Live! event raises funds for the organization.

LeAnn went for a fashionably forward, yet decidedly retro look at the event, wearing a bright green circle dress by Dallas based fashion stylist Nini, and pairing it with dark accessories.

Her black McQeen wedges, black teardrop earrings, and dark clutch help to ground the electric hue of her dress.

Not just anyone could pull of LeAnne’s Nini frock. Not only is the color of the dress bold, but its rather shapeless silhouette is also a daring choice.

I think LeAnn works it quite well though, and the Alexander McQeen heelless booties perfectly tie the look together.

This is one of those adventurous style pairings that you need tons of confidence to sell, and LeAnn has it on the red carpet of the event. It’s her obvious belief in her look that ultimately turns her ensemble into a winner.

If you adore LeAnn’s heels as much as I do, get them from Farfetch.com for $1,050 (Yeah, that’s not in my budget either, lol). But if it’s her dress you’re loving, it’s available for $595.
