She treats sidewalks like they’re runways, so it’s really no shock to finally see Lady Gaga walking in an actual fashion show. Making her runway debut during Paris Fashion Week, Gaga wore two looks, and also closed for Thierry Mugler Fall 2011. The collection was designer (and Gaga stylist) Nicola Formichetti’s first as creative director for the French fashion house.
The show, which was probably one of the most anticipated of Paris Fashion Week, featured models weaving in and out between wooden church columns. Some of the industry’s top faces, including Jessica Stam, Joan Smalls, and Ajak Deng, strutted to the sounds of Gaga’s newest single, Government Hooker.
Gaga herself, made her debut about two minutes into the the show wearing a black leather bra, black sheer overlay, and black leather skirt. She later closed, in a white corset, white bodysuit, white maxi length skirt, and white 8-inch platform heels.
