Actress Kerry Washington has been quite the busy fashionista as of late. Starting with ‘An Evening with Ralph Lauren hosted by Oprah Winfrey’ held at the Lincoln Center in NYC last week, and ending with the 8th Annual Keep a Child Alive Ball, on Thursday (Nov 3) night, Kerry’s made several strong style statements.
She started things off on a high fashion note, slaying the red carpet at the Oprah Winfrey hosted Ralph Lauren event, wearing a Ralph Lauren (natch) Fall 2011 gown. The sleeveless dress was about full on drama, with it’s high, gold sequined neckline drawing attention to Kerry’s equally dramatic makeup. A deep red lip, and subtly smokey eye provided the perfect accents to her look.
A few days later Kerry Attended the 2011 Susan G. Komen For The Cure’s Honoring The Promise Benefit in Washington, D.C. and wore a Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 dress. The salmon hued frock featured black botanical inspired appliques, a knee-length pencil skirt, and a peplum at the waist. Kerry finished her look with black peep toe pumps, minimal makeup, and her hair styled in soft curls.
Continuing her red carpet domination, Kerry shined in bronze Ralph Lauren at the L’Oréal Paris Legends Gala in NYC. She went for a monochromatic look, pairing her metallic hued dress with gold jewelry, and matching bronze eyeshadow.
To close out her über stylish week, Kerry donned a showstopping Donna Karan Resort 2012 dress. The white tulle frock had a full skirt with a layered, asymmetrical hemline, and featured striping throughout. With such a visually interesting dress, Kerry decided to keep all other accessories to a minimum — barely there makeup, nude heels, and a champagne colored satin clutch.
