Joan Smalls and Karlie Kloss aren’t the only models out there who are currently having a moment. British model Jourdan Dunn is also setting herself in position to take the industry by storm, and she definitely seems poised to do so.
As proof that she has what it takes, Jourdan walked not one, but two different red carpets within a week, and wowed the fashion crowds at both events. Jourdan’s first fashion moment happened at the 58th London Evening Standard Theatre Awards, where she wore a gold strapless dress from Burberry.
It was no surprise that she was outfitted by the British fashion house, as Jourdan’s one of their spokesmodels, and the event was hosted in association with the brand. But this is probably one of the best Burberry looks Jourdan’s worn outside of the runway.
A black satin Burberry clutch, and matching black satin heels completed her look.
Not content with letting her Evening Standard Awards Burberry look be her only standout style moment of the week, Jourdan again did her thing on the red carpet days later at the 2012 British Fashion Awards.
She was up for ‘Model of the Year’ (though happily conceded the win to good friend and fellow Burberry beauty Cara Delevingne), and was completely dressed the part in a custom made frock courtesy of Topshop.
It was another fitting style choice for Jourdan, as Topshop was an early supporter of hers when she initially hit the modeling scene, giving her one of her first major ad campaigns.
She accessorized her navy satin gown with the same black Burberry clutch, and a great headful of softly curled locks.
