High-street fashion continues to be popular among celebrities. Singer/actress Selena Gomez was spotting having fun on a Malibu beach along with with boyfriend Justin Bieber and his younger siblings, while wearing a sleeveless shirtdress from British brand Topshop. Her yellow ‘Daisy Dogs’ dress features — what else? — a daisy and dog print motif.

When she’s not wearing one of her crazy costumes, like the custom Versace nun look she rocked to this year’s Grammy Awards, Nicki Minaj actually has a cute sense of style underneath all the over-the-top garb.

The blonde haired (for now) rapper has an upcoming album to promote, and a new collaboration with Mac Cosmetics to chat about, so she’s putting in the required appearances and doing so with a chic mix of high-end/low-end fashion.

On two separate occasions in recent days, Nicki has been spotted wearing a low end piece from Forever 21, and pairing it with very high end Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

Her first stop was to ABC’s Good Morning America where she wore a $27.80 Mod Colorblock Dress from Forever 21. She matched the brightly colored frock with a pair of $1,095 Giuseppe Zanotti peep-toe, lace-up boots.

Nicki’s second outing was to a MAC store in NYC where she made an official appearance. She wore a $15.80 striped crop sweater from Forever 21, and again finished off her low end piece with a pair of expensive shoes, specifically a pair of $795 Giuseppe Zanotti peep toe pumps.

You know it’s Fashion Week when street style pics of your fave models start popping up all over the internet. New York Fashion Week has just kicked off, and model Jourdan Dunn was snapped strolling the streets of NYC between shows.

The British beauty went for comfort without sacrificing style, hitting the pavement in a pair of on trend Ash ‘Cool’ suede lace up wedge sneakers. The black and white shoes feature a 3.5″ hidden wedge, lace up front, and velcro strap. Get them from Footnotes Online for $225.

If you recall, wedge sneakers are an emerging fashion right now, most notably the Isabel Marant ‘Willow’ sneakers that have been seen on everyone from Tracee Ellis Ross, Miranda Kerr, Beyonce, and Alicia Keys.

It must be nice to have a work wardrobe as fabulous as that of Revenge star Emily VanCamp. The actress, who stars as Emily Thorne / Amanda Clarke on the hit ABC series, donned a Lela Rose cotton-threaded tulle dress in last night’s (Feb 8) episode.

If you recall, songstress Jennifer Hudson wore the same dress back in August to Russell Simmons’ 12th Annual Art for Life benefit gala. She modified the dress a bit, shortening the underskirt, but otherwise wore the frock as presented on the runway.

Emily’s look was accessorized with drop earrings and a single diamond bracelet, while Jennifer jazzed up the dress with a stack of bangles. The differences in the ladies’ respective looks are minimal, but the changes have a definite significance. What do you think?

Preppy’s never looked as good as it does on Revenge actress Ashley Madekwe. The British beauty attended the L.A. premiere of The Vow, going for a more casual look with a navy and green stripe polo top from LOFT. The classically ‘preppy’ top is given a contemporary update with the addition of black skinny jeans, and teal and gold Topshop sandals.

Ashley, who has her own fashion blog (we’ve been linking to it here in the sidebar for a long time), has proven to be a breath of fashion fresh air when it comes to her look both on and off the red carpet. She has a knack for mixing high-end gear with the perfect high-street piece, like her LOFT top, which retails for a price friendly $54.50.

Are all you ‘Dair’ fans out there paying attention? Actors Leighton Meester and Penn Badgley, who play Blair Waldorf and Dan Humphrey on hit show Gossip Girl, were spotted out in NYC filming scenes for an upcoming episode.

The duo were all smiles as they strolled arm in arm outside The Metropolitan Museum of Art. While Penn was attired in standard New York City winter gear, Leighton, wearing Oscar de la Renta Resort 2012, looked every bit the part of the Princess her character’s recently become.

And this is what a diva looks like one month after giving birth. Beyoncé made her first post-baby appearance at hubby Jay-Z’s Carnegie Hall United Way benefit concert on Monday night, and the songstress looked all kinds of fabulous in a red jersey dress from ALICE by Temperley.

The new mommy accessorized with sparkling heels courtesy of Christian Louboutin, jewels from Lorraine Schwartz, and an Alexander McQueen skull box clutch. She also kept her locks simple, opting for a straight and sleek, side-parted hairstyle.

It’s always a great moment for fashion when certain actresses have new movies to promote. Rachel McAdams is one of those stylish celebs who’s always a pleasure to see on the red carpet, and as she begins to promote her new film, The Vow, she’s already hitting out of the style park.

At the German photocall for The Vow Rachel opted for a decidedly romantic look, wearing a Collette Dinnigan black lace and nude mesh calf length dress. The off the shoulder frock featured a black grosgrain ribbon belt, and scalloped hemline.

Rachel played up the classic, timeless aesthetic of her dress, accessorizing with only a few choice pieces of jewelry. Diamond earrings, a single ring on each hand, and black pumps completed her ensemble.

Actress Elizabeth Banks attended The Cinema Society & Gilt Man with Grey Goose screening of her new film “Man on a Ledge” at the Tribeca Grand Hotel in New York City. She channeled her inner Versace woman, wearing a black gold studded look from the Italian fashion house’s Spring 2012 collection.

Her one-shouldered mini dress was paired with black stockings and matching black ankle boots. Elizabeth wisely decided to forgo wearing any obvious jewels, letting her highly detailed dress be the sole focus of her look.

Later in the evening she attended the screening’s afterparty, and added a leather jacket to her outfit, plus a black snakeskin Michelle Fantaci for Lauren Merkin ‘Essex’ clutch.

She’s always been a fashionable girl, but I never before would’ve described actress Dakota Fanning as someone who took major style risks. If her new hair color is any indication though, maybe that’s about to change. Not sure if it’s for a role or not, but Dakota debuted a new, pink tipped hairstyle while out in Beverly Hills.

Her signature blonde locks now transition into a soft shade of pink. It’s a new, fresh take on the ombre hair trend took over Hollywood a few seasons back, but Dakota’s pink hue isn’t unique. She joins singer Katy Perry, and fellow actress Dianna Agron in the ‘pink hair, don’t care’ club.
