As long as the PYTs of Tinseltown continue to be pretty, young, and thin, bare midriffs will always be a thing on the Young Hollywood red-carpet.
Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale played host of the night’s event, going for a demurely sweet look in a mint tinted cream ensemble featuring a crop top paired with a full, floral embroidered skirt from the Houghton Resort 2014 collection.
Keeping things cute and simple, Lucy accessorized her look with a cute minaudiere clutch from Kotur ($395), and Stuart Weitzman ‘Nudist’ strappy heels from the label’s Resort collection, which will be available for purchase in November.
On the jewelry front, Lucy chose a few select pieces from Sophie Hughes. Sideswept locks completed her look.
Glee starlet Naya Rivera loves her leather, doesn’t she? The actress hit up the Teen Choice Awards blue carpet wearing an all leather ensemble fresh from the Alice + Olivia Pre-Fall 2013 collection.
Naya took the bare midriff trend to the extreme, fully showing off her flat and toned stomach.
She wore an Alice + Olivia ‘Ericka’ black leather bustier ($396).
And keeping with the bad girl theme, Naya added the matching Alice + Olivia ‘Arthur’ black leather trousers ($797).
It might be a bit much for some, but when you’ve got a bawdy that won’t quit like Naya’s, might as well show it off while you can.
Like Lucy, Naya also opted for a sideswept hairstyle.
British import Cher Lloyd also walked the Teen Choice Awards blue carpet baring some midriff, doing so in a black and gold striped cropped top and mini skirt set from The Hellers.
Cher’s undergone quite the style evolution since her days as a contestant on X Factor UK. Now her look is more polished and put together, yet it maintains Cher’s signature quirky charm.
The black and gold theme continued down to Cher’s feet with a pair of gold-cap-toe black pumps ($675).
