Maternity leave, who? Beyoncé is not letting her pregnancy slow her down one bit. In addition to releasing a new album earlier this year, the R&B songstress debuted her second fragrance, Pulse. She crisscrossed all over NYC wearing her best smile, and best designer gear, proving that pregnancy doesn’t mean style has to take a vacation.
She started off her day at Bloomingdale’s in a lavender gown with knot detailing beneath the bust, and ruching at the sleeves. It’s an easy, relaxed dress perfect for a woman with an expanding waistline. If you’re looking for something similar, try this Rachel Pally ‘Meme’ maxi dress. It’s a different color, but has the same knot detail, and long sleeves.
Later in the evening Bey rocked a look that was reminiscent of the Sasha Fierce we’ve come to know and love. She paired a blue sequin Roberto Cavalli tunic with a sequin Roberto Cavalli blazer, Lorraine Schwartz earrings, and finished the look with black peep toe platform pumps. This JS Boutique navy sequin dress has the same blinged out style of Beyoncé’s Cavalli dress, but at a budget friendly price of $83.
Rounding out her busy week, Beyoncé rocked Lanvin to the Macy’s launch of her fragrance. Her floor length cream silk halter dress with feather accenting is from the french fashion house’s Resort 2012 collection. Lanvin is becoming a standard in Bey’s maternity gear; she famously wore the designer to the 2011 MTV VMAs when she let the world in on her pregnancy.
No feathers, but this ABS by Allen Schwartz embellished necklace gown has the same jeweled neckline as Bey’s Lanvin dress. Get it from Bloomingdale’s on sale for $181.
