Amal Alamuddin aka the new Mrs. George Clooney stuns in Giambattista Valli Couture post-nuptials.

Never say never. After famously declaring we’d never see him walk down the aisle again, George Clooney has done just that, marrying human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin after a five month engagement.

But I’m sure you’ve heard more than enough about that (seriously, the wedding was covered by no less than two publications and made headlines across the world).

Let’s talk the new Mrs. Alamuddin-Clooney’s style.

The morning following their star studded nuptials in Venice, Italy (where Clooney and Alamuddin-Clooney first met, natch), Amal cemented her status as an emerging fashion column staple by wearing a Giambattista Valli Spring 2014 Couture dress to utter perfection.

The long sleeve, lace frock featured an intricate floral appliqué throughout, and a high-low hemline which showcased Amal’s runway model worthy legs.

Fresh onto the celebrity scene, Amal is already drawing comparisons to another international fashionista, the Duchess of Cambridge herself Kate Middleton (yes, really).

If the frenzy around her wedding to George and the designer duds she dawned during the weekend long event are any indication, Amal Alamuddin-Clooney is definitely one to watch.

That first picture is one of the best I’ve ever scene of her. She looks great.

I agree on both accounts. Someone made sure that once she was officially Mrs. Clooney, the best designers/stylists would be made available to her. She does indeed look great, and it started during the weekend long wedding events.

I love the Stella McCartney suite she wore to the civil ceremony.
