Conventional fashion wisdom insists that a young starlet bring out her best dress for a red carpet event. Well, Jennifer Lawrence isn’t quite your conventional starlet, so don’t expect her to always play by those conventional fashion rules.
At the 2013 Santa Barbara Film Festival, JLaw skipped out on the designer dresses, and opted for a designer jumpsuit instead.
Jennifer stepped outside the fashion box, wearing a Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2013 midnight and navy ‘Valerie’ silk strapless jumpsuit to walk the event’s red carpet. She kept the accessories to the barest of minimums, essentially forgoing them completely.
