It’s easy to forget (or not even realize) that Taylor Swift is a 23-year-old woman. Behind the aww-shucks looks of surprise, the song lyrics filled with teenage angst, and a wardrobe that more often than not tiptoes into twee territory, there’s a grownup.
Following a recent breakup with her teenage beau, Taylor seems intent on finally embracing the other side of fashion life. Gone are the fit-and-flare silhouettes, and cutesy kitten shoes. In their places, fitted minidresses and platform heels have taken over.
Taylor attended the 40 Principales Music Awards in Spain, and she was like a brand new woman wearing a Kaufmanfranco Spring 2013 mini dress. With a sheer panel covered plunging neckline, Taylor’s foxy frock definitely proved the starlet is ready to step outside her fashion comfort zone.
For the night’s event, Taylor accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz rings, Ofira earrings, and a fab pair of Christian Louboutin ‘Dufoura’ open-toe booties ($1,195)
