There’s no denying that Disney knows how to find and cultivate young talent, seemingly with each new generation giving the world a fresh starlet to fawn over.
From Britney and Christina, to Raven and Hilary, to Miley and Selena, all the way back to the days of Annette Funicello, if nothing else, Disney knows how to produce top talent. So say hello to Zendaya Coleman, star of Disney’s Shake it Up!, and probable next big thing of the Hollywood teen set.
Zendaya was on hand at the 44th NAACP Image Awards Nominations Announcement Press Conference, presenting nominees along with fellow young Hollywood star, Tyler James Williams.
Proving she not only has star potential, Zendaya showed she has style potential, too, wearing a Shoshanna ‘Allison’ plaid dress ($395) paired with hot pink, jeweled slingback heels. If this look is any indication of what Zendaya’s prepared to bring to the fashion table, I can’t wait to see more from the young starlet.
