Fresh off the Spring 2013 runway, Rihanna rocks Alexander Wang on X Factor UK and Lanvin on The Voice.

If any other celeb were to wear a designer look exactly as presented on the runway, fashion press would be quick to throw out adjectives like boring, predictable, and unimaginative.

When the celeb in question is Rihanna though, ‘exactly as presented on the runway’ can actually be a refreshing change. Rihanna’s constantly pushing both her own style boundaries, and those of the fashion set at large, so when she occasionally goes for the ‘expected’ look, it’s a nice switch-up.

Rihanna recently appeared on two different music competition shows, on two different continents, wearing two fresh off the spring runway looks from both Alexander Wang, and Lanvin.

First up on the UK edition of X Factor, Rih donned an all white ensemble from the Alexander Wang Spring 2013 collection. The textured skirt and crop top ensemble featured cut out detailing throughout.

For her second runway retread, Rihanna took to the stage of The Voice, performing her hit single Diamonds while wearing a Lanvin Spring 2013 look. Despite its spring designation, Rihanna’s black jumpsuit with metallic detailing is decidedly holiday appropriate.
