Number one model Joan Smalls isn’t the only one nabbing Brazilian mag covers. Native daughter Laís Ribeiro is increasing her editorial numbers, too.

After having to miss out on this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show due to an unfortunate injury sustained during the show’s rehearsal, Laís isn’t wasting any moments to makeup for the missed face time.

With the new year comes new opportunities, and she’s off to a great start, nabbing the January 2013 cover of Harper’s Bazaar Brazil. Lensed by Bob Wolfenson, the cover features a pink sweater wearing Laís showing off her VS ready body in an Emilio Pucci graphic print triangle bikini (50% off, for $212!).

2013 hasn’t even started yet, and Laís already has several editorials under her belt. In addition to the Harper’s Bazaar feature, she also has an edit in the January 2013 issue of Vogue Brazil, photographed by Garance Doré.
