We’ve established that printed denim is a trend that isn’t going anywhere (see: Hilary Duff in her floral Level 99s). So when two of the industry’s most recognizable faces step out wearing the same pair of celebrity designed denim, there’s no further confirmation needed to know the trend is here to stay.
Such was the case with starlets Alicia Keys and Cheryl Cole. Both women were spotted recently wearing the same TEXTILE Elizabeth and James (yes, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen’s line, the one named after little sis, actress Elizabeth) ‘Cooper’ camouflage print jeans ($228).
Both ladies styled their camo jeans similarly — black blazers, black shoes, and heather grey accents. And both ladies added edgy elements to their looks, Alicia with her Rag & Bone leather trim ‘Gayatri’ blazer ($595), and Cheryl with her Tabitha Simmons ‘Wicked’ lace-up leather bootie ($1,495).
Alicia and Cheryl even both added bits of casual to their ensembles. Cheryl wore a heather grey henley sweater beneath her blazer, and Alicia completed her look with sneakers, Isabel Marant ‘Bazil’ hidden wedge sneakers ($685) to be exact.
Even with outfits so similar, attitude and persona separate each woman’s look. So…
