Pop starlet, and sometimes actress Taylor Swift has a very much established style aesthetic. She likes girly things, glitter and lace, and the always timeless fit and flare silhouette. So it’s no surprise that Taylor is a fan of the Charlotte Olympia ‘Kitty’ shoe series.
Featuring a gold embroidered cat’s face across the toe bed, and available in a variety of colors and materials, the ‘Kitty’ has become the iconic shoe of the Charlotte Olympia brand. It’s also become a favorite of the Hollywood fashion set, with Taylor the latest celebrity to join the club.
The I Knew You Were Trouble singer has been seen in recent weeks wearing the ‘Kitty’ not once, not twice, but three times. Taylor first wore the shoe during a working trip to Paris (She was there filming the video to her single, Begin Again). She chose the ivory satin, flat version of the ‘Kitty’ ($760), paring the shoe with a floral skirt, and bow accented sheer blouse.
Not long after that sighting, Taylor was spotted leaving a London hotel wearing a velvet version of the ‘Kitty’ shoe ($595). You would think the shoe alone would provide the correct amount of quirkiness to any look, but Taylor upped the fashion factor by wearing a pair of AG ‘Stevie’ polka dot cords ($178).
Taylor’s most recent “Kitty’ sighting was at Radio 1′s Teen Awards 2012. This time she opted for a heeled version of her ivory satin ‘Kitty’ shoes ($997).
