‘Fashion’s New It-Girl’ Solange Knowles covers the November 2012 issue of Elle South Africa.

We’ve always known Solange Knowles was fly. She’s been quietly making a name for herself amongst the fashion set for years now, but Elle South Africa has taken it upon themselves to crown her fashion’s ‘new’ it-girl on the cover of their November 2012 issue.

Hey, however it’s spun, I ride. It’s great to see Solo bringing her style perspective to the pages of a fashion mag, whether it’s FASHIZBLACK, or a more established title like Elle.

Lensed by Justin Polkey, under the watchful eye of Fashion Director Poppy Evans, with makeup by Algria Ferreira, and hair by Kevin Epstein, Solange fronts the fashion mag wearing a satin top by Tart and waxed cotton shorts by Loin Cloth & Ashes. Her fun bangle bracelets are by Pichulik.
