Julianne Hough or Heidi Klum? Which beauty looked better in mint at the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards?

Yellow was clearly the hue of choice at the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards, but there was plenty color to be found on the event’s red carpet. Awards show attire is typically a sea of black, white, with the occasional pop of color, but at this year’s Emmys, the ladies of Hollywood were out in full rainbow force, wearing gowns that spanned the color spectrum.

Two of those ladies, Juliaane Hough and Heidi Klum, both opted for mint colored gowns, achieving two sultry, yet decidedly different looks.

Julianne appeared to be going for an Old Hollywood vibe, with her hair styled in a wavy faux-bob, and dramatic makeup enhancing the look. Her strapless Georges Hobeika Fall 2012 Couture gown featured layers upon layers of sequins, ending in a paillette embellished hemline.

Heidi on the other hand, went full bombshell with her red carpet ensemble. Could we expect anything less from a former Victoria’s Secret Angel? She donned an Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2012 Couture gown that featured both a plunging neckline, and a thigh high split. On others it may have crossed the line into tacky territory, but Heidi manages to keep it sexy, yet tasteful. Matching Lorraine Schwartz jewels complete her look.

Who wore mint best at the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards?

  • Heidi Klum (67%, 10 Votes)
  • Julianne Hough (33%, 5 Votes)

Total Voters: 15

Naturally I voted for Heidi. Not liking the mint colour at all.
