It’s an inevitable thing in celebrity fashion, wearing the same outfit as someone else. When so many celebs work with the same stylists, and are being offered wardrobe pieces from the same fashion houses, a case of ‘oops she wore it again’ is bound to occur. It helps then, when those instances of double vision happen months apart from each other.
Way back in December of 2011, singer/actress Jordin Sparks wore a gunmetal sequin tiered-hem dress from Kevan Hall to the American Country Awards. She let the dress shine on its own, keeping her accessories to a bare minimum. Pulled up hair, gold sling-back heels, and simple disc earrings completed her look.
Fast forward eight months, and Unforgettable actress Poppy Montgomery wore the same Kevan Hall frock to the 11th Annual InStyle Summer Soiree. Poppy did more accessorizing with her look than Jordin, adding a matching shimmering clutch, black strappy sandals, several rings, a couple of bangle bracelets, and she let her long red locks flow free.
It’s the same attention grabbing dress, worn with two different style approaches, but which approach is best?
