‘Caribbean Queen’ Joan Smalls makes it a family affair in the August 2012 issue of Vogue US.

You know you’ve made it as a model, when fashion mags aren’t only interested in featuring you inside their pages, but they also want to include your family, too. Such was the case with Joan Smalls, who’s featured in an editorial inside the August 2012 issue of Vogue Magazine alongside her father Eric, and two sisters, Erika and Betsy.

In ‘Caribbean Girl,’ Joan and her family are candidly captured by photographer Norman Jean Roy, as they live, love, and dance around the streets of their home island of Puerto Rico. With expert styling by Tabitha Simmons, the entire Smalls clan looks ready for their closeups, wearing designer gear from some of the industry’s heaviest hitters including, Stella McCartney, Peter Pilotto, and Dior Homme.
