At this year’s Teen Choice Awards, newly minted The X Factor judge Demi Lovato shared hosting duties alongside Glee’s Kevin McHale, and since she was mistress of ceremonies for the night, Demi made sure she was dressed for the part.
The former Disney starlet donned a dramatic feather hemmed, sequins accented, and leather shouldered dress from the Falguni & Shane Peacock Spring 2012 collection. A high ponytail, and Christian Louboutin ‘Exagona’ platform heels ($1,095) completed her look.
If Demi’s dress looks a bit familiar to you, that’s no surprise, because model Selita Ebanks wore a modified version of the Falguni & Shane Peacock frock earlier this month, to the 2012 BET Awards. To create a more refined type of drama with her look, Selita had a sheer maxi-length overlay added, turning her dress into a gown.
Both ladies rock this intricately detailed dress better than almost anyone else could, each having the required confidence to successfully pull the look off. Given a choice though, which styling is your fave?
