Clearly Sarah Jessica Parker is a fan of Prabal Gurung. The actress, who’s currently on a European press tour for her new movie I Don’t Know How She Does It, wore the designer twice in a three day span. If that’s not a ringing fashion endorsement, I don’t know what is, lol.
SJP’s first Prapal Gurung look was a wool blend dress from the label’s Fall 2011 collection, worn to her movie’s Moscow, Russia photo call. The black and cream knee-length dress features lace print detailing, and red accenting beneath the bust and across the elbows.
She paired the pencil skirted dress with matching black and cream Ferragamo toe cap heels. Sarah’s Fall 2011 Prabal Gurung dress is available from Net-a-porter for $2,495.
For the Sex and the City star’s next Prabal outing, she chose a piece from the Resort 2012 collection to wear to the London photo call for I Don’t Know How She Does It.
The Resort dress is almost the complete opposite of the Fall one in terms of color, fit, and silhouette. Where the first dress had a high neckline, long sleeves, and a slim fit, this one has a v-neck, is sleeveless, and has a full skirt.
They’re different and show versatility in style, yet both retain a classically feminine vibe.
Sarah’s Resort dress features black and yellow color blocking with bands of white and pink flowers thrown in to add even more visual interest. Loosely waved locks, and black Charlotte Olympia platforms complete the look.
