Once upon a time you couldn’t pry Leona Lewis away from her black tights, and waist cinching belts. Now she’s developed a thing for baring a little midriff. Great for her that showing a bit of belly is on trend right now.

Leona at the launch of BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra’s Hackney weekend at Hackney Empire in London, England, wore a Tata Naka Fall 2011 scalloped hemmed crop top, and matching skirt. It’s a decidedly feminine look, with an almost vintage/retro vibe, and while many might not be fans of this outfit, there’s something about it I kind of adore.

What can I say? I’m a sucker for a little lace, and a girly edge. If you’d like to add a few scalloped hemmed pieces to your own wardrobe, see below for some reasonably priced options.
