Two beautiful ladies, with two beautiful smiles, both wear the same pair of bold red Giuseppe Zanotti booties, and even rock the same crossed ankle pose. Former Victoria’s Secret Angel Karolina Kurkova, and current Gossip Girl actress Tika Sumpter made public appearances this week wearing the same pair of heels, but they each opted for decidedly different looks.
Karolina attended The Cinema Society & Acura screening of Thor at AMC Loews 19th Street East 6 theater in NYC wearing a Christian Cota Spring 2011 dress. Appropriately so, her look is more ‘after five’, the beaded detailing on the dress giving it a little sparkle, and adding a bit of shine.
Tika on the other hand attended a more casual affair, The Body Shop Three-Minute Shower Challenge at Columbia University. She paired her Zanottis with a navy romper, opting for a classic, yet always fun, blue and red color combo. Rompers/onesies/jumpers — whichever you prefer to call them, lol — made their splash onto the celebrity fashion scene a few seasons back, and years later, they’re still around. Only now, they’ve taken on more flattering and sophisticated silhouettes.
With both ladies’ ensembles, I love how the Giuseppe Zanotti booties provide a perfect pop of color that takes their respective looks from basic, to trendsetting. The shoes retail for $925 at Forward by Revolve, but if paying almost $1,000 on shoes isn’t your thing, see above for a few lower end alternatives.
