Okay, okay. We get it. Cut outs are the thing in celebrity fashion right now. The fact that’s it been seen on EVERY recent red carpet might have clued us in. It’s reaching near saturation levels, but for now, I think it’s safe for us to still enjoy the look.
Actress Halle Berry definitely enjoyed, and slayed the trend, at the 2011 FiFi Awards, where she received the ‘Celebrity Fragrance of the Year Award.’ In a black one-shoulder Halston cut out dress, Halle proved she and her amazing figure can handle a little black dress that features two major trends — cutouts and asymmetrical shoulders.
On anyone other than Halle, I’d suggest they take styling notes from the model, and wear the cut out high on the hip. But since she’s Halle, and she looks the way that she does, and she has the confidence to wear the dress the say that she did, I say four for you Halle Coco. Four for you.
