Actress Camilla Belle either has impeccable taste in fashion, or she has one hell of a stylist, because the From Prada to Nada leading lady never fails to disappoint on the red carpet. More than likely it’s a combination of both, but whatever the case, the 24-year-old starlet knows how to dress. It’s this great sense of style, be it her own or as the result of a little help, that’s earned her the Young Hollywood Style Icon Award at the 2011 Young Hollywood Awards.
When you’re receiving a title that includes the words style and icon you have to bring your A-game, and Camilla definitely brought it, wearing a Tom Ford pantsuit with Sergio Rossi heels, and Cartier jewelry to the event.
Pantsuits aren’t a common red carpet occurrence, and anytime a star steps out in one, it’s sure to get noticed, whether in a positive or negative light. They aren’t the easiest of wardrobe pieces to successfully pull off, but when done right, a suit is an instant way to make a fashionably forward style statement.
As uncommon as they are, this isn’t Camilla’s first go at wearing a pantsuit on the red carpet. She had style watchers talking back in January, when she wore a Jason Wu bandeau topped suit to the L.A. premiere of her movie From Prada to Nada. If nothing else, Camilla is making sure she lives up to her Young Hollywood Style Icon title.
