There was this little thing called a Royal Wedding that went down today, between a couple of unknowns by the names of Prince William, and Catherine — don’t call me Kate now that I’m a princess — Middleton. I’m not sure if you’ve heard about it, but if you haven’t, the most important thing to know, is the bride wore McQueen. Aside from that, the most entertaining part of the ceremony was probably watching the female guests arrive in outlandish hat, after outlandish hat.

The fashion at the event was what you’d expect on an occasion such as this one, a lot of pomp and circumstance, with no one stepping too far outside the style box, or taking any major risks. Well, no one except Samantha Cameron that is. Not only did the wife of UK Prime Minister David Cameron show up to the wedding sans chapeau, but she also wore a pair of (cute) Aldo ‘Samella’ t-strap heels that retail for less than $100!

I don’t know much about the lady, but I find that I like her based on these two facts alone, lol.

I also like the pairing of Mrs. Cameron’s teal Burberry dress, with her orange shawl, and orange jeweled necklace. It’s an unexpected color combination at such a traditional event like a Royal Wedding, yet it manages to remain in keeping with the style of the venue.

If you’d like to own a piece of Royal Wedding history that you can actually get some use out of, grab SamCam’s ‘Samella’ heels from Aldo for a mere $59.98 (they’re on sale!).

Those are cute. Reminds me of the one’s that I eyed for Prom. Damn near impossible for me to walk in them :(. I’m not one of those girls that would think fashion = pain.

Bad enough that I’m an Aquarius and are weakness are our ankles/feet.

Yeah, these shoes are actually stylish, lol. I really appreciate how she went for ‘real’ fashion at the event.
