See, even fashion legends repeat outfits on occasion. Supermodel in every sense of the word, Iman, visited Sirius XM’s Martha Stewart Living Radio show last week, along with designer Isaac Mizrahi. From the waist up, Iman wore a look from the Chris Benz Spring 2011 collection. Her green and blue rosette trimmed blazer, with cream blouse, and gold tribal print necklace, is right off the runway.
From the waist down though, it’s a look we’ve seen her wear before, right down to the black wedge boots, and thick wool socks. Iman’s slouchy grey trousers made their first appearance back November, at Google’s Boutiques.com launch party. Then, she paired them with a grey tank, and navy sequin blazer, creating a great fall look.
By doing something as simple as swapping out her blazer, and her blouse, she’s got a completely new look, that’s just as chic as her original one. If Iman isn’t above engaging in a little wardrobe recycling, then we lowly everyday fashionistas shouldn’t be either.
