The new year is shaping up to be an amazing one for our girl Joan Smalls. She’s got that fancy Estée Lauder contract to look forward to, and now the first shots of her in Gucci’s Spring 2011 ad campaign have made their way onto the pages of fashion magazines. Found in the February issue of Elle UK, this Joan for Gucci ad features the model looking every bit the part of a Gucci girl. With bronze skin, red lip, and wearing a cream belted shift dress, and matching short sleeved bolero jacket, Joan simply smolders.
