Clad in Jil Sander Spring 2011, Drew Barrymore celebrates CoverGirl’s 50th Anniversary.

She’s one of their most recent celebrity faces, so it was no surprise to see actress Drew Barrymore on hand to help CoverGirl celebrate their 50th Anniversary. Still rocking her ombre hair that became a fast trend last summer, Drew pairs her casual locks with a deep yellow strapless dress from the Spring 2011 Jil Sander ready-to-wear collection.

This particular collection was one of my faves from the Spring 2011 season. With it’s bold color palette, fun experimentation with proportion and line, and minimal accessorizing, this Jil Sander collection had several red carpet worthy ensembles. Too bad Drew Barrymore skipped over those looks, instead deciding to wear a dress from the collection, that’s about as unflattering to anyone’s figure as you can get. She should’ve nixed this shapeless frock, which honestly, amounts to little more than a really nice bed sheet.
