Coming out to support the cast of BET’s The Game, at their season premiere party, Brandy debuted a new, or shall I say familiar, hairstyle— a return to her formerly signature braids. We haven’t seen her wear them in years, but during the 90s, Brandy wasn’t Brandy without her braids. Apparently Solange knew something we didn’t, when she recently took on a braided style. Braids are back.
I really like these braids on Brandy. I don’t know if it’s nostalgia kicking in, or what, but it’s a great look. The braids give her a youthful, vibrant glow, and you can tell by the smile on her face, that she’s enjoying her new style. This look might be a short term thing for her, but I hope she keeps them in for a little while.

The braids look nice but I think they make her look too young. It’s as if, in regards to her look, she has gone backwards. She is older so her look should evolve.
I was at this event and when I saw these braids all I could say was, “Mo to the, E to the…”
