Sometimes you find fashion inspiration in the strangest places, even in a child’s wardrobe. Little Shiloh Jolie-Pitt took a trip to Lee’s Art Store in New York City, with her mother and siblings, wearing a red chic military jacket. Her red jacket, with its brass button front, shoulder epaulets, and peplum detailing, is right in line with fall’s military trend. Imagine my surprise, when I learned not only is Shiloh’s jacket by Ralph Lauren, but there’s also a full sized women’s version available for purchase.
It doesn’t come cheap, with a price tag of $3,498, but if you can’t get the real deal, this Ralph Lauren jacket serves as a great starting point to find some military inspired alternatives. Throw in a white v-neck tee, jeans, and a pair of black boots, and you’ve got yourself a trendy, yet stylish look, that didn’t require a lot of effort to put together.
