Wearing a smile that shined as brightly as her gold Emilio Pucci Resort 2011 dress, actress Olivia Wilde struck a pose on the blue carpet, at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie, Tron: Legacy. Her sequin Pucci gown is a style departure from what we’ve been seeing lately on the red carpet, from other Hollywood starlets. The dress is flashy, and attention getting, yet doesn’t cross the line into tacky.
Altering her look slightly from the runway presentation, Olivia added a belt, which gives some instant structure to the otherwise loose fitting dress. I like the look styled either way, with or without the belt. Without it, the dress has a more casual, bohemian vibe to it. And with, it’s a more formal look.
Olivia wears her Pucci frock well, and if there was something I just had to nitpick about, it would be the hair. It’s not horrible by any means, but if she’d pulled her hair up, and away from her face, it would’ve allowed the dress to truly take center stage.
