She smiles! Displaying a rare show of positive emotion, Gossip Girl’s Taylor Momsen bared a few teeth as she walked the purple carpet of the 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards. The young starlet was at the awards show with the rest of her band mates from her rock group, The Pretty Reckless.
There wasn’t much to Taylor’s outfit, it consisted of an oversized black shirt, peek-a-boo black lace bra, and deep plum lipstick. But once your eyes move beyond her emo/semi-goth ensemble, you’ll notice Taylor is wearing a pair of intricately heeled Alexander McQueen over the knee boots, from the late designer’s Fall 2010 collection.
The ankle length version of the boot retails for just under $4,000 at Zappos, or just over $4,000 at Net-a-porter. I can’t imagine how much the over the knee version would set you back.

The boots are nice! My only complaint are the straps at the top of the knee.
Secondly, how gorgeous is that dress? Alexander McQueen was a fashion genius, shame that he committed suicide. R.I.P.
Yes, McQueen was def a fashion genius. The first collection since his passing was really good, though. It retained the McQueen aesthetic.
