Talk about a study in contrasts. While Taylor Momsen went for dark and edgy at the 2010 MTV European Music Awards, Rihanna went for the complete opposite, light and ethereal, in a tulle and organza number from the Marchesa Spring 2011 collection. Rihanna was all smiles as she walked the purple carpet, decidedly pleased with her look.
People either love or hate Rihanna’s bright red locks, but I think this is one occasion where the color actually compliments her ensemble. The red plays nicely against the nude hue of her Marchesa gown, plus I think her hair color has been toned down a shade or two.

Looks better on the runway. That weave needs to go!
I will say that I think Rihanna wears this dress the best that any non-model could, lol. She’s one of few celebs that could even try to pull this off.
