The term “celebrity fashion designer” isn’t anything new. There are dozens of celebrities who have their own fashion lines, but very rarely do you see them actually wear their designs out in public. Offhand, I can only think of Victoria Beckham, and…Victoria Beckham, but now we can add celebrity designer Gwen Stefani to the list. The No Doubt singer attended a close friend’s baby shower wearing a L.A.M.B. plaid shawl collar jacket, and black L.A.M.B. ‘Prudence’ boots.
To be fair, I’m almost positive we’ve seen Gwen wearing her own designs before. It’s just been a while. Going with a classic black and white color palette, Gwen had to have been the jazziest person at this shower. Gwen Stefani fashion sensibilities is what the Knowles clan aspires to be. In my opinion, she was the first musician to gain credibility in the fashion world despite her lack of experience.
