It’s official, we have a rising fashionista on our hands. Actress Elle Fanning wowed in Marchesa Spring 2011 at Elle Magazine’s 17th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute. Her organza pleated dress featured a gorgeously intricate beaded neckline. And although her long blonde locks minimize the full effect of the dress’ main feature– that beaded neckline– her overall look still manages to give off a ‘wow’ factor. What impresses even more, is knowing that Elle is only twelve years old.

Deciding to opt out of the runway heels, Elle’s look is completed with Jerome C. Rousseau “Medici” mary janes. The only other change she seems to have made from the runway look, was to go with matching cream beading on her dress’ neckline, as opposed to the mint beading that’s on the runway dress. The mint might’ve added a bit more drama, but the cream is equally fresh.

She might look like a 12-year-old, because she is one

The dress looks very age appropriate. I honestly couldn’t imagine it on a grown woman. I really hope that an adult would never wear this dress, unless she was wearing to a costume party, where she was portraying a doll or Shirley Temples.

I love, love, love the dress. However, the actress isn’t rocking it at all. She looks like a 12 year old and not a doll.
