She’s said designers won’t loan her any of their pieces, like they do for all the other celebutantes, because she doesn’t fit a sample size (which is commonly somewhere around a US size 0-2). But Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks is getting the last laugh, donning designer duds on the covers of high end mags, like the November 2010 issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

Clad in a flaming red jersey drape dress by Michael Kors and matching red lip, Christina’s cover and editorial were shot by controversial photog, Terry Richardson. She’s gained fame for flaunting her curves as office manager Joan Holloway, on Mad Men, and now Christina, along with plus size model Crystal Renn, are inspiring designers to make their pieces available to women who are larger than ‘sample size.’

Below you’ll find two more shots of Christina in Harper’s Bazaar, wearing a Valentino pantsuit in one, and a Stella McCartney dress in the other. Head over to the mag’s website to see more pics from the editorial, and be sure to pick up the issue when it hits newsstands on October 26th.
