Nude is the ‘it’ wardrobe color for fall, and apparently platinum blonde is the corresponding ‘it’ hair color for the season. Singer/actress Ashlee Simpson joins an increasingly long list of female celebs who’ve drastically lightened their locks in recent months. There was actress Michelle Williams, R&B artists Ameriie, Keri Hilson, and Mya, and even model Abey Lee Kershaw took a bottle of bleach to the head.
Ashlee decided to not only go lighter with her look, but she also went shorter with her length. Over the years she’s rocked several different hair colors, from red to jet black, and they’ve all been pretty much flattering, and I don’t think the platinum blonde is any different. If I’m not mistaken though, this is the first time we’ve seen Ashlee with short hair. Both the color, and the cut look good on her. Where others have failed, Ashley actually makes platinum blonde work.

Umm, NO! I don’t mind the cut, but she looks better as a red head.
