A little rain can never keep a good fashionista down. Solange Knowles not only braved the elements of NYC, but the singer/songwriter/DJ also carried her own umbrella as she made her way into the über exclusive Tom Ford Spring 2011 collection presentation. Coming out to support big sis Beyonce, who walked in the show, Solo made a chic entrance, wearing slim cut black slacks, a cream blouse, black and gold t-strap heels, and to add pops of fun, a leopard headwrap, and a green clutch.
I love how Solange manages to switch up her look. Known mostly for her eclectic sense of style, at Tom Ford she went for a more sophisticated/sleek look than what we’re used to seeing from her. The leopard headwrap is pure ‘Solange’ though, and ties her look together. If you’d like to copy Solo’s look, see below for a few low-end alternatives.
