I’m sure this year’s White House Correspondent’s Dinner was filled with more celebs than the event has ever had. Actress Kerry Washington stood out among the celeb crowd in a strapless dress fearing a mermaid hem, and ruffle detailing at the waist. This isn’t a look that can work for everyone, but Kerry does this dramatic dress justice, by keeping her hair, makeup, and accessories simple. By toning everything else down, Kerry is allowing her dress to take center stage. I like Kerry’s Correspondents’ Dinner dress, but do you?

i like the colo and it would be a great dress – the ruffles at hte waist it isnt flattering for her body type and it makes her look short she dose pull of the fish tale nicely thow!

I love the color on her. Washington has beautiful skin, and that midnight blue is really making her glow.
