Diane Kruger at the 2009 MET Costume Institute Gala

While Diane Kruger didn’t go all out like Rihanna or Leighton Meester, the actress looked equally as glam in her Chanel Spring 2009 Couture dress. Unlike her cohorts, though, Diane didn’t take her look exactly off the runway. The dress was originally worn on the runway with a pair of sequin tights/pants, that Diane thankfully decided not to wear. Diane’s resulting look is youthful and flirty, a welcome change from the other more avant garde looks of the night. I like over the top fashion as much as the next person, but sometimes less is more.
