What’s Happening?… Lauren Conrad’s Clothing Line No More?

by Norell Alesse on March 23, 2009

It looks like the recession is hitting everyone hard these days. Apparently Lauren Conrad is taking a break from her clothing line, The Lauren Conrad Collection. Citing the current ‘economic climate’ as the reason for the decision to pull the line, Lauren’s people insist that it’s only temporary. Her rep told the New York Post, “With everything going on in the economy and in her life, she wants to rework her line and offerings. She will make announcements soon.” Personally, while I thought Lauren had some cute pieces in her line, overall it was grossly overpriced for what she was offering. Will any of you be missing The Lauren Conrad Collection?

no i think she meant that why waste hundreds of dollars on something when you can get basically the same thing that’s just as cute for like, ten dollars :)

I agree that her items were overpriced. Honestly, I didn’t hear alot of people talking about her collection.

I’ve never bought anything from her line and I didn’t realize it was overpriced! I admire her style but I thought she would have been more modest than that. *shrug*
