I think it’s safe to say that awards season has officially begun. The Critic’s Choice Awards went down last night, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’s Taraji P. Henson hit the red carpet in a metallic strapless mini dress that featured a frayed hemline, and she paired it with matching metallic peep toe pumps. I love Taraji’s red carpet look. It’s sophisticated and adult, but the dress’ short length and frayed detailing keeps it fun. Amongst a sea of gowns on the red carpet, it’s nice to see Taraji switch it up for the female celebs and wear a short dress that’s as classic as the gowns. i'm definitely feeling this. it's so unexpected. at first glance i wasn't sure what to think, but on further observation i see how well the color goes with her skin tone, how it elongates her legs and just how great she looks overall. <3
