Yesterday, we discussed Ashley Tisdale’s new found love of fringe for the feet, and today we’ve got Rihanna officially making fringed footwear a trend. The r&b/pop star was spotted at Milan Fashion Week taking in the Gucci Spring/Summer 2009 runway show. Wearing a little black dress with studded detail, and thigh high black boots with fringe accents, it’s no surprise that Rihanna was viewing Gucci. The Bajan beauty was recently named as the designer label’s newest face, and it’s rumored that Rihanna and Gucci designer Frida Giannin are in the process of designing a gown for a new collection that Rihanna will promote. I feel compelled to disagree with the length/thickness/abundance of the fringe on her boots…..she’ll get it when she trips on them when she walkin down the stairs…or maybe not.
