Rachel Bilson stepped out in California yesterday wearing a pair of open toe Martin Margiela ankle boots. When open toe boots made their appearance on the fashion scene, I wasn’t too sold. Over time I’ve warmed up to them, but I’m not so sure about this pair. I love Rachel’s style, so I’m willing to give the boots a chance just because she’s wearing them, lol. I don’t think I could pull them off, but somehow I think they work for Rachel. Would you wear these open toe boots? How do you think Rachel looks in them?

AND because shes so short they look really stupid especially with long jeans, maybe with a mini they might go okay…. but hey you still get cold toes, in this case, definitely a win on style but a big NO-NO on practicality.

I dont like the front of the boot. I just dont like the side profile of it. The heel itself is just awkward. She however is amazing! With this outfiit it doesnt work as much but look at them in a new light paired with a vintage dress and blazer in inStyle Magazine. Very chic.

No. Rachel Bilson is super cute and has a great figure, but I think she looks sort of gawky and weirdly-proportioned in these pictures. It’s the boots! Change them out for some sandals, or some less-clompy boots, and she’s chic again.

Open-toed boots are cute, but I don’t like this particular style. Usually, I love whatever Rachel Bilson wears, because she can pull off a lot, but not here.
Oh dear. It looks as thought she has put her foot through a brown paper bag. Sometimes, just because something is in the pages of the fashion magazines, doesn’t make it stylish. . . .

She sorta pulls off the laid back look with those open toed boots. But I just don’t get it, so I wouldn’t wear them.
