SAG Awards 2008…America Ferrera

America Ferrera was beautiful in a grey Monique Lhuillier gown at the 2008 Screen Actor’s Guild Awards. See ladies, you don’t have to be a size 00 to wear designer clothes (you just need to be really rich, or really famous, lol). There’s so much to like about America’s red carpet look. First of all, I love the grey color of the dress. You’d think grey would look dowdy and dull, but on America, it shines. The asymmetrical shoulder combined with the mermaid silhouette of the dress come together with America’s hair and makeup to create a vintage Hollywood look. Monique Lhuillier definitely know what she’s doing, and that’s why she’s a designer to the stars.

America Ferrera is proof that a gal can be very beautiful on her own terms, instead of being put through Hollyweird’s cookie-cutter. She is definitely my pinup, and such a sweet gal as well!

Norell Alesse, your comment/review about America (and dress) was irrelevantly written, in my opinion. I can’t believe you even had to mention that “you don’t have to be a size 00 to wear designer clothes”. OF COURSE WE DON’T HAVE TO BE A 00 TO WEAR SUCH CLOTHES, and MOST OF ALL we don’t have to be a 00 to look gorgeous. America, you’re beautiful!
