Nude pumps have been a big hit this summer. They’ve been seen on everyone from Amerie to Jessica Biel. I think what’s made the trend work so well is that the nude color looks great on a variety of shoe styles. Nude looks great on peep toes, platforms, mary janes, and even loafer style pumps. Plus, a nude shoe instantly lengthens the leg. What more could a girl ask for in a shoe? Lol. Be sure to get in on this trend before the warm season is over.

I guess I should have explained this trend better. Some readers have commented that this wouldn’t work on black women. But that’s so not true, lol. Nude just simply refers to a shoe color that matches your skin tone. If your skin tone is dark, just find a browner shoe. And the the lighter nude colors, actually look great against dark skin. The lighter nude color pops against darker skin, yet it still provides the leg lengthening effect because the color is a skin tone.

first of all, neither of you spotted the nude pumps trend. So why even front like that was a completely original idea, because even “the trendsetter” was a little bit late on this one. I think I’ve even seen nude pumps featured in life and style magazine from awhile ago, so y’all both lose.

The reason I did a post on nude pumps is because a reader, Sarah P, asked for one when I did the piece on Amerie wearing the Gap dress. I’ve actually linked to this particular blog, The Trendsetter/Nothin’ But Fashion, that I’m ‘copying’ several times. And want to know why we have some of the same pics?
