Paris Hilton To Launch High End Footwear Line

Clearly, those with money will back anyone if they believe it will get them more money. According to Women’s Wear Daily, Paris Hilton will be launching her own self named high end footwear line, some time early next year. The line, which will feature platforms, wedges, and other styles seen on Paris herself, is being produced by the Antebi Group a footwear manufacturing company. Of her new line, Paris had this to say,

“My goal is to create a stylish and fun fashion line from head to toe. Antebi Group really understand my vision for this line as well as the needs for the fashion-forward young woman.”

I understand the lure of celebrities creating their own clothing lines. The idea is that customers will be drawn to that celebrity’s name and be more likely to purchase. But I can’t think of anyone who would buy a product because it has Paris Hilton‘s name on it. If anything, I think it would be a turnoff.
